Were you excited about getting Kiffin when he came to UT? What was HIS record coming in?

Dooley is a good hire, even though he isnt a big name.

he has a great bloodline, his dad Vince was a coach at UGA, and has worked under some great coaches.

Cut would be a great OC, but not a head man in the SEC IMO. he has great football knowledge and awesome offensive gameplans, but he couldnt handle the recruiting and other non-football aspects of the UT job

He worked under Saban for 7 years. Saban supposedly called Hamilton (as did Muschamp during his interview) and told him that if he didn't at least interview him he was a fool. He had 2 #1 recruiting classes for Saban when he was there as recruiting coordinator too. I hope he does well.

    He will do well.

He runs things very similiar to the way Saban runs things, and Saban wins games.

people critize his record, but NOBODY wins at LAT, but he has.

I like the hire, even if it isnt a huge name.

Give em a couple years, UT will be back in the SEC hunt
